Recently, over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been experiencing some mental fog. I find myself confused about what month it is and what season we’re in. Just today, I was searching for my toothbrush, wondering if I had unpacked it after a trip earlier this month. It took me a moment to realize that it was my electronic toothbrush, right there in front of me.
In addition to this mental fog, I’ve been having episodes where I zone out and stare into space.
I’m currently dealing with severe diverticulitis and awaiting word from a surgeon. Perhaps the constant pain and nausea are causing me to be distracted. I’m not entirely sure.
Does anyone have any suggestions or advice for me?
