@troverI think the reason I struggle with making connections is because others can tell that I don’t have much empathy.
What are some methods that are useful for increasing cognitive empathy?

@sasha76I think If one can start to understand what someone else is going through and maybe just for a minute think about how you would feel if you were going through it, then you may have more understanding and be able to show cognitive empathy!

I have tried that and most of the time it doesn’t work for me, I’m not sure why. Is there anything else that helps you?
