@findthelightI want to stop taking medication and try something else. My symptoms aren’t too bad, so I think I can handle them without it.
Has anyone stopped taking antipsychotics before? How did it make you feel? I really can’t stand feeling numb anymore.

At first, I felt like Forrest Gump running across the country, with tons of extra energy for a long time. I didn’t sleep for days. I went from feeling numb to feeling everything very intensely all the time. It was the toughest thing I ever went through. It was way, way harder than quitting drinking.

@acunawithdrawal from antipsychotics Effects” include nausea, giddiness, drowsiness, depression, others I can’t think of, all coming and going and changing. Tapering gradually is key to not experiencing rebound effects
